None at all! There is zero sewing involved during your Shoe Party. You and your guests will simply trace reusable acrylic patterns onto denim and cut them with fabric scissors. Sole Hope's fairly-paid tailors and shoemakers in Uganda do all the sewing and crafting.

You can host an intimate gathering at home with 3-5 family members or invite 10-20 friends, neighbors, birthday guests, or small group members. You can host as many or as few people as you like!

Ask your guests to bring old, clean denim jeans, denim skirts, or denim jackets to your party. One pair of adult jeans creates approximately four to five pairs of children’s shoes.

Once your party is complete, pack all cut denim patterns into your envelope or box and mail them to Sole Hope using the return shipping instructions included in your host pack.
